"The images are still, but they were produced from moving images - a clock, an automobile, a bicyclist, a cow. Campbell has fed two to three minutes (an hour for the clock) of video or film imagery through a computer, collected every "bit" of information and printed it all at once. The results are marvelously updated variations on Italian Futurism, the movement that sought to capture motion in a still image. The bicyclist particularly is a brilliant homage to Giacomo Balla."
