The video footage for this work was shot in the same location on Market Street where it was presented and shows typical pedestrian and vehicle traffic moving through this major thoroughfare. The low-Resolution display subjected the video footage to intense pixilation. Only the barest details remained for viewers to recognize the imagery. Urban Reflection is a continuation of Campbell’s ongoing investigations into human perception and the liminal, the threshold between representation and abstraction, analog and digital information.
